Terms

Terms of service for the live SimPilot route tree.

The public shell now publishes the live product contract for accounts, billing, generated engineering output, and acceptable use.

These terms summarize the live product contract. Enterprise order forms or negotiated addenda can add stronger obligations without weakening these baseline rules.

service

Service Scope

SimPilot provides engineering-oriented planning, simulation, analysis, review, and reporting tooling. The product renders from typed state and workflow history; it is not a guarantee that a simulation result is correct, complete, or fit for a particular regulatory or production decision without independent engineering review.

accounts

Accounts and Workspace Access

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account, using the product only within your assigned org and project permissions, and ensuring that your workspace members and connector installs are authorized.

Host-aware auth is part of the contract: tenant hosts are authenticated product surfaces, while the share host remains read-only and never becomes an authenticated workspace host.

acceptable-use

Acceptable Use

You may not use the service to bypass approvals, exceed plan or policy limits through abuse, probe other tenants, upload unlawful content, or attempt to interfere with the platform or third-party integrations.

  • No credential harvesting, sandbox escape attempts, or cross-tenant data access attempts.
  • No illegal, abusive, or export-controlled use that violates your agreement or applicable law.
  • No automated abuse of public routes, auth flows, or cost-bearing execution paths.

outputs

Engineering Outputs and Responsibility

Generated plans, specs, studies, validations, and reports remain subject to your engineering judgment. You are responsible for reviewing solver configuration, convergence, validation evidence, and approval state before relying on an output in production or compliance workflows.

billing

Billing and Credits

Paid plans, grants, and usage-based charges are enforced through one typed billing ledger. When a cost floor or policy limit blocks an action, the product returns an explicit typed failure instead of silently continuing.

Fees, renewal terms, and any enterprise-specific overrides are governed by the active plan, order form, or contract tied to your organization.

ip

Customer Content and Intellectual Property

You retain responsibility for the content you upload and for ensuring you have the rights required to use it. SimPilot retains the rights needed to host, secure, back up, and process that content solely to provide the service.

disclaimer

Availability, Warranty, and Liability

The service may change over time, and some features depend on external providers. Except where a signed agreement says otherwise, the service is provided on an as-available basis and warranties are disclaimed to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Nothing in these summaries overrides a signed enterprise agreement, order form, or published service-specific addendum.
