CaseSpec

The typed source of truth for a simulation case — solver, physics, geometry, mesh, conditions, controls, QoIs, and report inputs.

Definition

A CaseSpec records solver identity and version, physics regimes, geometry references, named selections, mesh intent, materials, boundary and initial conditions, solver controls, post-processing recipes, validation targets, study coordinates, and report inputs. Solver adapters materialize runnable files from this state; the spec stays editable, the files stay derived.
